Our Mission
Agapé Mission, founded on the everlasting word of God, was birthed from the perfect LOVE OF JESUS CHRIST for a lost and hurting world.Through the love of Jesus Christ, the mission will:
- Be the hands of Jesus extended to the hungry, homeless and helpless no matter what age, origin, sex or religion.
- Be a light in a dark world, showing the less fortunate in our community that Jesus loves them and cares about them.
- Evangelize and share the Good News of Jesus Christ to the lost and dying world.
- Be an avenue of unity in the body of Christ, where ALL denominations can come together and volunteer for our community.
The mission’s goal is to be an example of Christ’s love by providing food and guidance to those in need.The mission’s purpose is to minister to those in need, both physically and spiritually, with dignity and love.The mission’s programs include:
- Prepared meals served 6 days a week for all ages of no-income to low-income families.
- Meals prepared and delivered 6 days a week by authorized volunteers for elderly and shut-ins.
- Organize all party treats for JPS School.
- Help with Washington County School Supply Give-Away each year for children who attend a Washington County School.
- Food-For-Kids program which provides over 1,700 sacks a month for weekend lunches for kids in twelve area schools.
- Food is given for after-school meals to Boys & Girls Club and Westside Community Center.
